Welcome to Puget Sound Aviation Medicine serving pilots from an office in Olympia. It is our goal to help you with all your FAA Medical Exam needs. It is our goal to keep airmen flying and so we offer the most flexible hours and near-term appointments in the area.
Our Services
We use the Waggoner CCVT Color vision test. The Ishihara cards are no longer an option. If this is your first FAA medical exam, you will need to pass this test. Because it is randomized, you are allowed to take it several times. We find that the format can be a bit rushed at first so a first-time failure may not mean that you have color vision deficiency. If you think that your initial failure was incorrect we can try to have the night-time restriction removed by having you take this test.
